Today’s message to Collective Consciousness.

I’d like to share a story with you. I went for a run last night like I often do and surprisingly I’m very competitive when I run. No one is allowed to overtake me and anyone in front I can see I need to pass. How’s that for putting yourself & your body under stress!

Last night I saw a runner about 100 meters in front of me, now usually I’d run them down like a panther runs down its prey. I caught myself in this moment of thought and decided to go within for a change, and care less about what everyone else was doing, and just focus on what I want to do.

So I went inside my mind and let go of the attachment I have always had to pass everyone and not be passed.

I listen to my body and I ran in the zone where my body was comfortable at a certain pace. I found myself almost doubling my speed for a couple of kilometres. I would have to say it was the quickest 2 km I’ve run in many years. I passed the other runner in a couple of minutes not because I was competing with them but because I was competing with myself.

I found the meditative runners high inside where I was no longer competing but just doing what I wanted to do when I wanted to do it, without regard to anyone else who may be running at the same time.

On getting back home the following quote was born, I’ll now do my very best to live by it:

I couldn’t care less about what someone else is saying or doing, I have no control over that. I care a lot about what I’m saying and doing, I can definitely control that!

Why not try this, you’ve got nothing to lose, and you just may surprise yourself like I did last night!

Please share experiences you have either publicly or via direct message I’d love to hear about it your research with this non-attachment.

Please also share this post if you think it will help someone you know. JGD, Scott
